It facilities include a dual channel, stereo analogue audio to AES converter, (clock free running or locked to external syncs), and/or a dual channel AES to stereo audio converter. With the addition of the Shootview SDI i/o card, the unit then has facilities to Embedd or De Embedd audio into or from the SDI stream. There are front panel status LED.s and the unit is mains powered. Also available as an option, is a small control panel for remote control. The BAYSAVER HD has been designed to full SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 344M and SMPTE 259M specifications, and switches in the vertical interval but will switch immediately if no reference signal is present. This unit employs automatic sample rate detection on the input equalizers allowing a mixture of HD / SD signals in the same unit. Front panel LED’s indicate signal presence and control activity.
