SERIAL DIGITAL VIDEO AND AUDIO ROUTING MATRIXThe TTR5000 Serial Digital Video and Audio matrix is a compact, competitively priced unit with a wide range of facilities only normally found in higher cost units. Housed in a 1U frame, the basic matrix is a 16 x 2 video with a breakaway AES/EBU stereo audio level. Local control, terminating inputs and dual outputs for video are provided as standard. Optional extras include a remote control panel, regenerated looping inputs, reclocking on outputs, and a status display programme that runs on a PC. The unit accepts an analogue reference input to provide switching during the vertical interval. This type of matrix is ideally suited for edit suites or any local monitoring position, e.g. a CAR area or a lines recording area. Options are available for smaller matrices, e.g. 4 x 1, 8 x 2, 16 x 1 etc., whilst larger matrices may be built-up by stacking the units, making use of the optional looping video inputs and the access to the data bus which is provided at the rear of the units. Local control of the matrix is provided by dual LED push-buttons mounted on the front panel of the unit. Married and breakaway selection is provided, with indication given by the dual LEDs, i.e. video, audio or married selections are shown, respectively, by the Red, Green, or both LEDs being on. Broadcast Embedder / De-embedder The TTR Embedder / DeEmedder is probably the most cost effective and versatile card available to the discerning broadcast installation engineer, this card has been designed to solve all known interfacing and timing issues that occur in the SDI domain. The card comes fully loaded as standard and has no messy piggyback cards to purchase and install. This single eurocard design card can provide all the above functionality from the one purchase option and can be programmed from the front control panel or supplied pre programmed for your particular requirement. Our standard 1u rack can provide 16 channels of embedding or de-embedding or shuffling, and our sophisticated processing ensures all internal delays are adjusted to provide a fully timed output stage. The TTR Embedder / DeEmedder employs an on board microprocessor, with RAM and EEPROM that allow all set ups to be stored, and monitored during power down. There is also an RS232 interface available for external programming and monitoring of functionality. The functions that this single Euro card design can perform are: Dual Embedding or Dual De-embedding, shuffling (or channel swapping), timing and slipping of audio or video signals (up 20 Frames of video or 1 minute of stereo audio), and Re-timing of audio/video (i.e. De-embed, re-time either way and re-Embed).The card is intended for synchronous audio (48 / 96KHz) only. BROADCAST TBC SynchronizerBuilt on the success of the TTR30001 the TTR3001S TBC is a new and versatile digital frame store synchronizer. It accepts SDI, composite, YUV, RGB or YC inputs and provides SDI, composite, YUV, RGB and YC, outputs. Internally generated colour bars can also be selected as an input. The new design incorporates an adaptive Comb Filter Decoder that produces sharper pictures. The unit is controlled by a simple front panel menu driven LCD display which provides selection of input standard (PAL or NTSC), reference standard (PAL or NTSC) and input source ( SDI/composite/YUV/RGB/YC/internal colour bars/Comb on/off). It also provides control of subcarrier and horizontal phase, gain, saturation, lift and hue (NTSC). Other features include a freeze frame function. The unit is housed in a 19” 1U rack mount frame.
